This site showcases the photography of Lou Wagstaffe, who lives on Jersey, the largest of the Channel Islands, (UK), and grew up a stone’s throw from the sand dunes and beaches of the west coast, which provided boundless opportunities to develop a strong affinity with the surrounding environment.

Lou has a broad range of interests, and tends towards naturalistic representations of land and seascapes, nature and reflections on water, beloved pets, candid shots and drone photography.

Intertidal Walks is a page dedicated to Lou’s guided walking tours and provides images, information and booking options. Intertidal Walks is accredited under the Adventure category of the WiSe (Wildlife Safe) scheme, and is also a member of the eco active business network.

Lou’s aim is to educate and inspire others to take an interest in our incredible, yet fragile marine environment. Changing perspectives, and helping others rediscover childhood awe and wonder by making the ordinary appear extraordinary.

Providing pet-sitting and dog-walking services, keeps Lou busy between the tides and when not behind the lens.

Sea Hare Photography is a Jersey registered business, and licensed to provide photography services, sell photographs and photo gifts, and for the provision of guided intertidal walks.
